ABout meWith a passion for both teaching and travel, thirteen years ago, I decided to take my career internationally. I've had opportunities working with various curriculums including Canadian (Ontario, Alberta, and New Brunswick), British (National Curriculum in England), American (Middle States Association and Common Core) as well as international programs (Cambridge, and International Baccalaureate). Middle States Association, Common Core, and IB curriculums. To date, I've taught in Canada, UK, Madagascar, Oman, Guyana, China, and now call Japan home. My teaching roles have been as diverse as the countries that I've lived in; I worked as an Upper Elementary School teacher, Special Education Coordinator, an Middle School/High School (MS/HS) English as an Additional Language (EAL) Coordinator and now the MS/HS Language Coordinator.
In my free time, I love hiking, reading, swimming and SCUBA dive as much as I can. I'm currently taking Japanese so I can learn to communicate better in my adopted home. |
